Oh, so much time since my latest article... summer was long, beautiful, busy and overwhelmed of news. Terrorists in Norway, war in Lybia, atomic disasters in Japan, another crash on wallstreet..... the list is endless. It feels almost as if so much is happening that my mind is shutting down, unable to process the information that is spread by news, papers and the internet all the time. A thing that is obvious for me, is the fact that the USA most often somehow is involved in those happenings. Of course, I do not want to say that USA is responsible for everything, but still, in a time where the american government should be very much concerned about their own well-being, they still are throwing money on foreign wars, instead of actions of humanity....
Previously one could often see the start of a war or an international crisis whenever the american politicians needed to change focus away from their own problems. Now, due to the very bad financial situation of the american economic, the start of another war, or even a military interference is not possible. At a time like this: is it not very lucky that a storm is passing by right when it is so badly needed? And is not the storm very kind to pass by Wallstreet on a weekend, so the financial markets are not disturbed? The fact that the hurrican changed forces to become a simple rainy weekend was not predictable... so they say.... Fact is that the news about a hurrican in New York made people change focus and Wallstreet stopped falling without any boundaries...
Well, as usual, this is just my humble opinion. Just a slight guess on how to make media follow a government's interest.
Back to all the happenings: people are starting talking about Nostradamus. 2012, the year that the World ends. The bourne optimist in me says that I do not believe in these kind of theories. but I still can see that we are looking forward to a lot of changes. Maybe it is just the end of the world as we know it..?!
